Along with the Tayberry Jam/Reggae On The Mountain & 4th Annual Orchard Benefit Concert & Celebration.

The Tayberry Jam/Reggae On The Mountain is an annual benefit concert for Cougar Mountain Farm. We are trying to conserve our farm's forest lands and promote sustainability, permaculture, and organic agriculture. We are doing that by growing organic specialty crops in a sustainable fashion, providing educational experiences, and by hosting this annual event!

The 320 acre farm is surrounded by forests, meadows, old-growth Douglas Fir and Yew trees. Our amphitheatre is powered by a 3000 watt photovoltaic system. Each terrace of the orchard overlooks the southern-most end of the beautiful Willamette Valley. The proceeds from the Tayberry Jam will ensure that we are able to continue establishing the orchard, create educational opportunities and foster sustainability in our region. Come help us create and live the dream!

We have tried to create a beautiful event that will bring unity to the community. Noah says, "We spotlight local musicians and show a respect for diversity by having a concert with bluegrass, reggae, fire dancing and a little rock and roll."

Built by Noah and Anna Wemple, the amphitheater was modeled after some of the structures they had seen at festivals in the area and include the ideas of Edd Wemple, Noah's father. "Having this amphitheater has been a longtime family dream," Noah says. "I have taken on my father's dream of having a large annual festival here." Cougar Mountain Farm has been pursuing sustainability for three generations. The Tayberry Jam is a celebration of all the ideals, hard work, and natural beauty that is Cougar Mountain. Please join us as we celebrate, define and create the permaculture sustainability movement. Peace.
