Welcome to the San Francisco Green Festival, a joint project of Global Exchange and Green America. Each year, this San Francisco event never ceases to amaze us.
We always hear that it’s easy being green. How come we never hear how fun it is? Join us at Green Festival for a great variety of fun and educational activities for the entire family:
* Delicious organic meals and snacks available all day—yum!
* Kids of all ages can explore the Organic Valley Green Kids' Zone. Youths 18 and younger get in FREE!
* Youths 13-19 years of age will want to take the Youth Unity Exhibit Challenge. Collect gifts at great booths throughout the exhibit hall and win a special prize if you fill out the entire Challenge Card!
* Sample organic, Fair Trade coffee, tea and chocolate—they really do taste better.
* Find out what’s working in our communities and communities a world away at the Fair Trade Pavilion.
* Dig into insightful workshops at the Green Building Pavilion, where you’ll learn the best tips and tricks to go green and save green—for apartments, condos or houses.
* Enjoy live, local music (Friday & Sunday) and watch irresistibly delicious demos by acclaimed chefs from the Bay Area in the Soul Kitchen (Saturday).
* Don’t miss the chic and sustainable hemp fashion show.
* Check out the Green Chat Space to connect offline with like-minded social networkers.
* In our unique Green Marketplace with more than 350 green businesses, it’s easy go green, support the local economy and find that perfect something for that someone special.
