The 1st Annual Alaska Green Fair was held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Egan Center in Anchorage and was sponsored by the Anchorage Media Group and The Last Frontier Eco Alliance. For more information, see website linked above.

The Last Frontier Eco Alliance is an Alaskan-based environmental justice solutions organization founded by J.T. Hessert to promote the development of a clean energy economy that works for all parties across the socio-economic spectrum. The organization is driven to unleash the power of media as a tool for social change and to build sustainable programs that link raising awareness with results-oriented action.

Their long term goal is to build a series of annual spring events for all major Alaska cities, but currently are focused on one primary Alaska Green Fair event in Anchorage, and are actively collaborating with the Anchorage Media Group, as well as other partners to bring this vision to reality.
