Where: D&R Greenway Land Trust at the Johnson Education Center

    Event Type: Lectures/Talks/Book Signings

NOFA-NJ (Northeast Organic Farm Association) and John Jeavons will support the event in collaboration with D&R Greenway Land Trust as a fund raising event to support the New Jersey Farm to School Network.

Starting time will be 6:30 pm for the doors to open at the D&R Greenway Johnson Education Center in Princeton. From 6:30 – 7 pm, we will be providing a winter vegetable soup (from Beth Feehan, Director of New Jersey Farm to School Network; and Gary Giberson from Sustainable Fair and Lawrenceville School) and bread (from Village Bakery) and then the lecture by John Jeavons will be from 7 -9 with time for questions from the audience. Title of the lecture is GROW BIOINTENSIVE® Sustainable Mini-Farming. This event will be different from the keynote address that John will give on Saturday in that the participants will have time to interact with John and have the opportunity to ask questions. Cookies will be available at the close of the event (from Pam Flory and Michelle Glenn).

We will be requesting donations at the event to support the New Jersey Farm to School Network. Suggested donations are $35 for adults and $15 for students/children. Donations are tax deductable and receipts will be provided for all levels of donations.

    Open to the Public!
