This conference will include several offerings of animal-inspired Yoga practice, performance of asana routines by noted Yoga teachers as well as lectures by experts in the emerging fields of animal consciousness, animal-based therapies, vegetarian advocacy, religion and animals, and the legal standing of animals. Saturday evening will include a Council of All Beings. Opportunities for guided wildlife hikes into the Ballona Wetlands will be included.

How we are trying to make this event "green":

Greening Yoga Events:

The Green Yoga Association is working to bring greener practices to Yoga events and conferences. We will be at the Yoga Journal San Francisco Conference (Jan 28-Feb 1, 2010) to help Yoga Journal make a few green changes. We will help reduce the amount of paper waste generated throughout the conference.
