    It is that time again where Common Vision is putting on events to help put fresh local schoolyard grown fruit into the bellies of thousands of low income school children across the state. Here's how it works. You come and have a great time at the events near you. Common Vision then plant trees and inspires another 10,000 students with theater, music, and a spirit of working together.

    * Butternut Squash Fritter with Sage and Meyer Lemon Cream served in an Endive Cup.
    * Onion Apple Borscht with Garam-Masala Spiced Oil and Apple Sesame Relish
    * Arugula, Persimmon, Pine Nut, and Goat Cheese Salad with a White Balsamic Vinaigrette
    * Mushroom and Wild Rice Roulade with Root Vegetable Puree, Braised Greens, Allspice Black Pepper Pinot Noir Reduction, and Fig Marmalade
    * Cardamom and Asian Pear Cake with Pomegranate Sauce and Chai Truffles.

    Chris Berry the “Afropop Superstar” (SF Chronicle) a multi-instrumentalist with grace on Mbira, the hand drum, as well as a gifted singer-songwriter whose voice is often compared to Sting. Music first touched the Grammy award winning Chris Berry as a teen living in the heart of Zimbabwe where he carefully learned the indigenous rhythms of Africa on the sacred Mbira (African Thumb Piano).     Common Vision is an all-volunteer nomadic group best know for our annual Fruit Tree Tour. Each year we travel the length of California in the world's largest veggie oil-powered caravan transforming barren inner-city schoolyards into abundant urban orchards. We also produce permaculture courses, reforestation workshops, and more.
