Please join us for the 1st San Francisco Green Film Festival kick-off party and fundraiser on November 30th at Ninth Street Independent Film Center.

Be the first to see a sneak peek of some of our most inspiring films, hear about the great line-up of films and guests, make new festival friends, and have the opportunity to buy your all-access festival pass!

    6 pm – 7 pm - Drinks and networking

7 pm – 9 pm - Film screening: a lively selection of short films and trailers for the upcoming SF Green Film Festival, including:

    * THE KRILL IS GONE. Matt Briggs, USA, 4 mins
Winner, Best Animated Film, BLUE Ocean Film Festival 2010

    * DARK SIDE OF THE LENS, Mickey Smith, UK, 6 mins, Winner, Best Short Film, New York Surf Film Festival 2010

    * DIVE!, Jeremey Seifert, USA , 44 mins, Winner of too many festival awards to mention here! Inspired by a curiosity about our country’s careless habit of sending food straight to landfills, the multi award-winning documentary DIVE! follows filmmaker Jeremy Seifert and friends as they dumpster dive in the back alleys and gated garbage receptacles of Los Angeles’ supermarkets. In the process, they salvage thousands of dollars worth of good, edible food – resulting in an inspiring documentary that is equal parts entertainment, guerilla journalism and call to action. Watch the trailer below or find out more at www.divethefilm.com
