Hampton Bay Days is a three-day family festival that celebrates the conservation of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. The event is free and open to the public. Over 25 environmental organizations participate to promote the conservation of the Bay to include the Cousteau Society, the Wyland Foundation, Virginia Institue of Marine Science, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and more. The festival also includes a wide variety of musical entertainment - national, regaional and local; seafood; arts & crafts; and a renowned children's interactive Bay Education area complete with a children's area stage.
Hampton Bay Days is the largest green festival on the East Coast, famous for its Bay Education Area. Our worldwide network of partners includes the Wyland Foundation, the Cousteau Society, the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and more. All of our partners work toward a common goal - promoting the conservation of the Bay and clean water - through providing free on-site environmental education programs and entertaining interactive make-and-take activites for children and their families. Visitors will discover everything from new and innovative ways to recycle to the importance of a healthy watershed and its impact on the community.
