Come to Sustainable Northeast Seattle's second annual Planet Home sustainable living festival! This free community event offers speakers, workshops, conversations and demonstrations on a variety of different topics such as organic gardening, materials reuse, DIY home repair, urban farming, emergency preparedness, food preservation, alternative energy, sustainable transportation, and more. We'll have local musicians providing entertainment throughout the day and fun activities for kids as well!

Come to learn more about our grassroots organization, how you can become involved, and how your participation can assist you to transition to a more sustainable and resilient lifestyle. We are all about building a strong community that will remain healthy despite any hardships that might occur.

Meet members of our Guild organizing structure. These are smaller groups of individuals who focus on specific topics. Our guilds include: Urban Farmers, Local Motion (transportation), Local Economy/Local Currency, Emergency Preparedness, Community Kitchen, Permaculture Design, Community Orchards & Gardens, Tool Share, Awareness, and Community Celebration.

Give a listen at our Speakers Forum; keep posted for who will be speaking. Check out a variety of displays and demonstrations by members of our community.

Stay for lunch at one of our sustainable food providers, and give a listen to acoustic music, or settle in for a cup of calming tea at our Tea House.

See website linked above for more information.
