A free fun family style festival designed to celebrate the environment and help educate others about how to be better stewards. Lots of informative exhibits, eco-entrepreneurs, and eco-artists, as well as music, food, raffles, and activities for all ages.
GREEN Day! environmental expo is held under a ceiling of sky in the green heart of Plantation Florida. See first hand the South Plantation High School award-winning solar powered car. Over 80 exhibitors and environmental agencies to help in solving our most pressing environmental challenges.
How we are trying to make this event "green":
Public transportation available to the park entrance, or ride a bicycle to the event and receive a prize! The park contains a new comfort station that is solar powered and completely off the grid. Bottled water is not available and generators are not allowed. |
