Energy Innovations, Entrepreneurship, and Green Careers will provide information on green initiatives across the globe, how to start and/or find a clean energy, clean technology company, and will help you identify careers and job opportunities within the green industry. This course will offer guest lectures given by our prominent expert guest speakers such as, Dr. W. Bonvillian, Director of MIT's Washington, DC Office, Dr. R. Mashelkar, India's former Director General of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), and Dr. D.W. Smith, President of the Council on Competitiveness, USA.

This course will give students an overview of the innovation and the research-taking place in the field of energy and its applications in the developing green economy. Particular emphasis will be placed on the economic impact of these innovations and the strategies used to secure capital for researching alternative energy solutions. The course consists of two components: Innovations in Energy & related concepts and Entrepreneurship & Green Careers.
