Get on our biodiesel/solar bus for a tour of mural artist Mona Caron's works, hosted my Mona herself. Yes, you've seen her murals all over SF, including the Duboce Bikeway behind Safeway and her epic piece on Church/15th street depicting Market street's evolution over time. Join us for this special occasion! We will will view many of Mona's wonderful murals around SF and points beyond, and she will tell us about each of them and answer questions.
But this is no ordinary tour! While en route music will be provided by DJ Alxndr. And a good thing too as our bus has a dancefloor and a sound system! Feel free to BYO drinks and food to share.
Mona Caron is a visual artist, muralist, and illustrator, focussing on site-specific and community-informed murals in public spaces since 1998. She occasionally collaborates with activists and communities in the creation of art and agitprop for political actions for social and environmental justice; and also illustrates books, event posters, and lots more.
